Auditorium of the University of Siena: a large capacity
A large tiered hall that is both great hall and auditorium. A beautiful contemporary design project applied to the university world, a hotbed of young and brilliant talent. Work on this place was carried out with the intention of creating a welcoming, stimulating and encouraging space. The interior proposal prepared by TMA for the Great Hall La Scotte of the University of Siena includes more than 500 seats. Armchairs for multifunctional classrooms, auditoriums and training rooms, chosen in this case in the Nuvola FP line. A seat with a rigorous and modern design but extremely comfortable and ergonomic.
The La Scotte lecture hall presents itself to the public as a red sea in which white, sinuously shaped steps welcome the observer’s gaze. In addition to the armchairs of the Nuvola FP line, TMA designed and produced the bespoke speakers’ stand: a structure that emerges and occupies its own space, giving prominence to those who take their seats behind it.

WHITE BECOMING PRESENT AND TANGIBLE
A welcoming entrance
The reception area was also designed and realized by TMA. Here, an information counter in light shades of white and beige, echoing those of the Auditorium, awaits students and guests. Behind it, large glass windows create a secluded area in which to wait for the start of lessons, review or exchange a few notes.
